CONFUSING SAFETY ICONSThese icons appear in a manual that is for use by train maintainers on a rail network in the UK.
Pictograms are supposed to communicate a hazard without words being needed. This hasn't worked here. The first symbol looks like a liquid is being squirted on something - possibly keeping pesky wasps off a jam sandwich during a picnc? I've no idea. The second one looks like it's warning about the mind flayer from Stranger Things... Better get Eleven!
