Risk assessmentRisk assessment is a critical activity to help protect workers and others who come into contact with your organisation’s activities, as well as complying with the law. An effective risk assessment will focus on the risks that really matter and provide the starting point for controlling them. The requirement for risk assessment is a legal requirement; the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations state that a workplace risk assessment must be 'suitable and sufficient’.
DurationThis is a half day workshop. The programme can be extended to a full day to allow delegates to carry out a range of real risk assessments and receive further coaching on how to improve their practice.
Who should attend?The workshop is ideal for supervisors, line managers and safety representatives who may be required to carry out workplace risk assessments. It is ideal for staff new to the line manager’s role or to existing staff who would like to improve or refresh their skills.
