Risk management

Risk management is the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events.

We can help your business to:

identify and characterise threats
assess the vulnerability of groups of staff or critical assets to specific threats
determine the risk (the expected likelihood and consequences of specific types of threat)
identify ways to reduce those risks, and
prioritise risk reduction measures based on a strategy for your business.

We use the bow-tie method to help groups understand threats, possible consequences and control measures that are in place.

Alternatively, we can create models and tools (in Microsoft Excel format) for you to continue to apply risk management principles as your organisation develops.

For transport operators (rail, bus and tram) we can also create route risk assessments and maps.
