LIGHTING INTERFERENCE
This CCTV monitor has been provided on a railway platform that has a curve - which means that the guard (the person who has to make sure it is safe for the train to depart) can see the whole of the train. Unfortunately, the platform lighting (it's an underground station) causes bright strips of reflections across the vandal-proof covering of the monitor. This means that there are large blind spots where the guard cannot see potential hazards.
